Releasing A Second Album

Throughout the year I spent some weekends sweating away behind the score editor & DAW. Below are the fruits of my labour 😂

This time round I went full digital. Even though composition was done fully on my electric guitar. The sound and the quality, and specifically the easy to get to the pro-sound using virtual guitars like ODIN III made the process so much simpler.

Composition was done fully in Guitar Pro, every instrument notated as accurately as possible, then once imported into Cubase, I'd automate volumes and velocities, program key switches, add layers of synth instruments, bass, sub bass... and and and.

Admittedly not everyone's cup of tea, but it was highly satisfying releasing another EP that kind of encompasses the music I have wanted to create since picking up the guitar in the 2000s.
